The Hunger Games Catching Fire

Hi my lovely blog supporters! So Catching Fire is the second book in The Hunger Games trilogy, I've read it and thought I'd review it, here you go!

Title: Well it's either The Hunger Games Catching Fire or just Catching Fire. IDK witch one.

Author: Suzanne Collins

Summary:
Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

My Review:
Ahhhhh!!!! How does Suzanne do it! Write such good great awesome amazing books!? I mean look at me, I can barely keep up with this blog (not that you can or would ever compare me with Suzanne Collins). I simply love the way she writes this book!
Caution Spoilers Ahead
Ahhh! I could not believe that Gale like liked (as in loved) Katniss! I was like WHATTTTTTT????  I bet it hert Gale in the first hunger games to see Katniss with Peeta like that, I bet Katniss really wanted to tell him about how she was "acting" but, remember, she wasn't sure how much she actually was acting. Okay, Snow with the blood breath? Let me be the first to say "EWW!" I'm sorry but that was just guh-ross!
No More Spoilers
I truly LOVED   FREAKING LOVED ADORED this book!!!!!! Though I'd only recommend this for 9 and up.

My Rating:
5 Stars all the way

The Hunger Games Book Review

Hi my blog supporters! So right now I'm gonna review the 1st book in The Hunger Games series!

Title: The Hunger Games

Author: Suzanne Collins

Summary:
In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games," a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she is forced to represent her district in the Games. The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed.

My Review:
Oh my gosh!!!!!! I freaking loved this book sooooooooo much! Katniss  is strong, brave and loving! She is amazing and awesome and tons of other things!
Caution Spoilers Ahead
Oh my gosh! I almost cried when Rue died, and how Katniss drugged Peeta so that she could save his life like, who does that? (in the best way possible :D) I loved how Katniss volunteered to go in to the games for Prim, amazing! It was so sweet when Peeta declared his love for Katniss, so sweet.
No More Spoilers
I recommend this for people 9 and up, truly awesome book! I don't know how Suzanne thought all this up but I sure am glad she did.

My Rating:

Bad Kitty vs Uncle Murray the Uproar at the Front Door

Title: Bad Kitty vs Uncle Murray the Uproar at the Front Door

Author: Nick Bruel

Summary:
Kitty's owners are taking a week off and leaving Kitty and Puppy at home. So who's going to watch them? Good ol' Uncle Murray, star of the Fun Facts feature of previous Kitty books―the guy you thought knew everything about cats. Think again! It isn't long before Uncle Murray is driven to near madness by shenanigans of epic proportions.

My Review:
Good ol' Uncle Murray still has a lot to learn about cats, like not to use them as pillows or dish rags* heh heh*. Dude if your going to pet sit a cat you really should know.
I liked this book, it was funny, has wit, and has Good ol' Uncle Murray as not just some random cat fact guy.
  You should get this book.

(Though it had some violence) 5 stars

Clarice Bean Spells Trouble Review

Title: Clarice Bean Spells Trouble

Author: Lauren Child

Summery:
Clarice Bean seems to be in nonstop trouble these days, almost as much as Karl Wrenbury, who is the naughtiest boy at school. If only she could be more like her favorite book character, Ruby Redfort, girl detective, who is very good at getting out of trouble. The problem is, Mrs. Wilberton is planning a spelling bee, and just thinking about it gives Clarice a stomachache. But when Karl Wrenbury has a family problem and gets into really big trouble, Clarice does something utterly unexpected, altruistically proving Ruby Redfort's maxim "Never let a good pal down."

My Review:
Lauren should be proud of her 2nd kids novel in the Clarice Bean series, Clarice Bean Spells Trouble. This book is funny and actually brings up some good grammar questions, like "why isn't you spelled U?" and "why isn't why spelled Y?", the world may never know. I LOVED THIS FREAKING BOOK!!!!!!

5 Stars

My Review:
I loved this book. Books are my life, so when I find a book as good as this, I freak. I love the way it introduces the Romans. I'm so glad Rick is an author, or else I wouldn't have read this book. Awesome, I'm impressed he was able to top "The Lost Hero" (the 1st book in the series) but he did in a totally freaking awesome way!
