Rain!!

Hi guys! So where I am it's raining like CRAZY!!! I'm at the high school (since that's where my Mom works) and the lights just went out and came back on! We're all freaking out and it's actually kind of scary!! But it's kind of fun too... XD It's POURING down! Every second it's like a bucket gets dunked from heaven!! Pray for me!

Beautiful People-May (I'll do one every month)

Hey! So I saw this over at Noor's and another (I can't remember which) blog. Today I will be doing the Beautiful People something or other... I'll call it a challenge!

Today's post is featuring Marven, the main character in my novel. Anyway! She is the lost princess and she has magical powers and she needs to dethrone the current "king" of the magic world. This is basically just how you meet her... so... yeah! Now onto the questions...!

How often do they smile? Would they smile at a stranger?

She smiles when... ya know... something makes her happy!! It depends on the stranger, if there was a person that was in like a very big rush, and pushed Marven out of the way, she would roll her eyes. If there was a homeless person on the side of the rode, Marven would give a reassuring smile like It's gonna be alright!

What is the cruelest thing she's ever been told? What was her reaction?

Once, she was reading her creative story to the class, she was really excited and thought it was pretty good! But the second she was done, the most popular girl snorted and said "That, my friends, is how you lose friends" with a sneer. The reason she said this was because Marven was the only 5th grader that was going against Brittany (popular girl) in the Talent Show. This resulted in tears, the councilor,  and more tears. (She's very likable!)

The kindest thing she's ever been told? Her reaction?

Well, once in the first book, Emily (you'll see her later) whispers to Marven in the dungeon, "Even if we-you don't dethrone King Carson, even if we both... even if we both die... I'll always, always, stand by my rightful Queen, and best friend..." Marven's reaction "And I, as Queen, will always stand by you."

 What is one strong memory that stuck with your character from their childhood?

Well, she's actually still in her childhood... but one memory that's gonna stick with her is her leaving her 4 year old brother Peter... so sad!

What book do you think your character would benefit from?

Harry Potter, she needs to learn you need tactical plans! You can't just rush in and say "I'm here to kill the king!" whenever you get mad!

 Do they get along with their neighbors?

She get's along with most people... but she's a natural born leader, so she tends to be a bit bossy and clash heads with others...

On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being easy and 10 being difficult) how easy are they to get along with?

Um... 3?

If they could travel anywhere in the world, where would they go?

Um... home! She'd give anything to be back home with Peter and (although she'd hate to admit it) Lisa (her adoptive mother (it's a long story))

Peter

Hm... Scarlet! From The Lunar Chronicles! Her personality is just so strong and amazing!! I can understand why Wolf fell for her! Hee-hee! (Did you know they get married??)

Professor Umbridge! I just hated her! And if you've read or (ugh) watched the movies, you'll know what she did! It's just so horrible! She physically punished them! They wrote with their own blood!! If that's not proof that she's the worst ever I don't know what is!

Well, I'm 10, so really nobody, but if you mean when I'm older... I have a couple...

(Noor I am not copying you, this is the complete truth!) Levana from TLC! She's just amazing in the way that, if you read Fairest, the prequel, she kinda has reason to be the way that she is! I mean, she had such a horrid life! Nobody loved her, not even the man she loved for so long!

6.Favorite side character?

Does Leo count? I'ma say he does! I love him sosososososososososososososososoSOSOSOSOSOSO MUCH!! Heh heh! Sorry about that! I got a little carried away! Now, I love Leo because of his humor! And because he's able to be humorous even when his past was so horrible!

This is TWENTY ONE. I'm pretty sure I Have been on Dani's blog before, and you have also probably heard of me my half sister is Marshmellow, she is not interested in blogging at all she is currently 10 years old and myself well I'm 12.

Ok well I'm 12 years old I love to play softball I'm bilingual my two languages are English and Spanish. I'm   410'' and I'm obviously a girl I am smart I know that for sure because I'm in an 8th grade class while I am in 6th grade. I don't have a blog of my own but if I do get one I will talk to Dani about it.I do have a favorite band they are Twenty one Pilots, and she isn't really a band but a solo artist, Melanie Martinez I also like FOB. I do like other singers but those are my favorites.I'm single thank the lord ;) and I do have a crush but I don't think y'all will be interested in that story, anyway I live in the same town as Dani I'm not sure i should give out that information because it is personal It's not that I would feel uncomfortable with telling y'all but I will say this we live in Texas in the U.S.A. I am athletic I love to run reading is my worst subject next to social studies then my best are math,Spanish, GT, science, and athletics.Oh and lunch I'm ADHD so I take medicine so I am usually calm but I don't always eat lunch but when I do I eat everything when I'm not on my meds. i eat a lot I'm super hyper and I can't concentrate. I got into the Talent Show!!!!!

I'm doing a skit! Which in case you didn't know, is a mini play basically. The play is called the invisible bench.

Me and Hairdo walk onto stage and act like we sit down.

Me: How about that weather?

Hairdo: You know, hot and humid

Actor walks onto stage as Hairdo pulls out a water bottle and takes a sip

Actor: Are you guys sitting on the invisible bench?

Me: Yeah, why?

Actor: Cause it moved over there

He points over to the left of us

We fall

Me: It's an easy mistake to make

Hairdo: It is an invisible bench

We move over

Me: Are you sure this is where it is?

Actor: Yeah positive!

We act like we sit down and Hairdo pulls out his water bottle and drinks

Actor acts like he bends down and acts like he touches the bench

Actor: Um guys...? It's actually over here.

We fall down and Hairdo spills on himself

Me: Really?!

Hairdo: Why?!

Me: Well, at least it can't get any worse!

Thunder claps

Hairdo stomps up to me

Hairdo(angrily): Thanks Dani!

Me: Me and my big fat mouth!
