 So this is a kinda strange tag, and the name of it literally means the EXACT OPPOSITE of me. But um... yeah. I got tagged by Alex from the blog Smoke and Ashes which I must say is such a mysterious freaking title but it's also cool as hell.

First Post of the Summer (Which is Actually Kind of Sad What is Wrong With Me?)

 Hey guys! So... I haven't posted in, like, a LONG time. And now that I'm back, I'm planning on making a plan and actually sticking to it. Because I'm not sure if anyone actually READS my blog anymore, but if they do I don't want to let anyone down. But I honestly don't think anyone does. It's ok though, no sad thoughts. So I am officially back.
 ANYWAY. I'm planning for my schedule to look like this on Wednesday, a post about my life. Or just whatever I decide to do a post about, because I'm spontaneous like that. On Friday, a post about writing or books. Just something to live up to the "Book Blog" part of my name I guess. So... yeah.
 ALSO I might be making some changes to my blog, such as the layout, some of the pages, and the nicknames because they are all very outdated. I mean, at least for me there are.
 Now onto the part of the post that is about my life. So. Last month on the first of June was the last day of school. It was somewhat of a bitter-sweet day because, since the district lines got reshuffled some of my friends aren't going to be there again. BUT all the one's that matter are.
 I haven't really done anything ALL THAT fun, I have spent some time with some of my friends (remember, I'm going to be redoing nicknames so I'm not listing currently) and stuff like that. AND next week and the week after that I'm going to be enrolling in a theater camp that I am SO excited for. Like, for real, I have almost never been more excited for anything, EXCEPT for the fact that once school starts back up again I'll be in ADVANCED theater which is literally one of the best things EVER.
 So anyways, that's what's happened/will be happening this summer, and if I'm consistent (which I hope I will be) I'll start posting a LOT more. I really hope that since I'll start posting more I'll start getting more ideas for different posts, but if any of you people that actually read my blog still want me to do something than I will do it.

Why I Haven't Been Posting Recently/ This Blog Was Formerly The Dani Jones Blog

 Hai guys! So you might've noticed that I haven't been posting recently, and there's a reason for that. So what happened was one day I took my laptop outside to play on it. Then Mom called me back inside for dinner and I thought I'd be right back out after. But then after dinner I had to do the dishes and Speed Boy and I got in a dance battle- it was extremely funny because Speed Boy is five and can break-dance like a freaken baller and then I just... can't- but so ANYWAY Speed Boy needed to go outside to do something but he said he couldn't because it had just rained. So I started FREAKING OUT and Speed Boy didn't quite know why, but it was because my laptop was still outside on the porch swing. So I ran outside to get it and luckily due to the angle of the covering only a corner of my laptop was wet and the laptop was closed. I rushed it into Mom and she was SUPER annoyed. My Mom TRIED to open it up but the screws were stripped so she couldn't. We ended up just opening it up and letting it dry for a couple days. Then I turned it on and it was all good! So tomorrow I have a plan for a blog post, and then it's back to the normal schedule! So yeah!
 ALSO not sure if anyone noticed but I changed the blog title to The Book Blog That's Not Actually A Book Blog so yeah!

If I won the lottery I would buy a huge freaken MANSION!! It would have bookshelves lining every wall and it would have A LOT of bedrooms with toilets and mini fridges. PLUS a private maid, chef and butler. I WOULD ALSO BUY A HELICOPTER AND MY OWN ISLAND WHERE I WOULD TAKE MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND WE COULD FLY TO SCHOOL!!!!!!! So yeah!

  Now for the 'other stuff'. I'm kinda changing up the blog a little. I'm changing the name, I have Nabila making me a new heading and blog button and I have Izzy/Mason making me a signature and some of you may have noticed that I've already changed my about me page. So... yeah! I'll tell you my new blog name when I have all my new blog things!

I like to watch musicals and dance and sing along while watching. Tea and coffee are almost always sitting on my desk. Today I have Amy from Little Moon Dragon. So take it away Amy!

Hello! I'm Amy, I blog over at Little Moon Dragon, and I'm so happy to be blogging over at the amazing Dani's blog today! A little bit about myself: I love vintage, pastels, singing, dancing, and anything whimsical along with, of course, blogging. But enough about me! I'm here today to share with you all about the process of taking photos for my blog. Before we start, I'd just like to say that this is simply how I take my photos, and you by no means have to do yours this way.

1: Lighting

Even if you don't have a fancy camera, if you have good lighting, your photos can turn out wonderful. Because of this, if possible, it can be very useful to take your blog photos in bulk on a sunny day.

2: Background

In my opinion, it's important to choose a plain, non-cluttered background for your photos. That way, nothing is there to distract your readers from the focus of the image.

3: Props

I love adding fun props to my photos, to give them a little life. Some of my favourites include things like flowers and china saucers. Just make sure, in order to keep your photo uncluttered, don't overdo it!

4: Editing

Even if I'm already happy with my photos, I like to edit them. It can make such a huge, positive difference. My favourite way to do this is to go to an app called "Phonto", open my image, and then select the "Highlight, Shadow, Adjust" option. I attached a before and after above!

And that's it! I'm by no means a photography expert, this is simply what works for me. Thank you for having me, Dani!

Some people are mean...

 Hi guys. I've been having some problems with mean people commenting. I don't know what to do about it! Someone (naming no names) is accusing me of copying her and lying about it!! I don't know if you know how this feels, but not good. Every time I see or talk about this, I feel like crying. I'm so terrified that when I look at my followers, they'll be depleting, and I'll have none left. I don't know what to do, so please help me!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

 Hey guys, more recommendations!!!!!!!!!!!! So, again, I'm gonna copy and paste part of their about me (if they have it), and intro post (if they don't). So, let's begin.

1.  A Girl Blog: The reason I've decided to start this blog is because I was thinking about my goals and aspirations and mine is to be a well known blogger and YouTuber. I don't yet have a YouTube channel but I'm starting this blog and I might do in the future.

10. Wolfa Dudley #Nerdalert: If you can tell by the title, I'm weird, but I plan on doing big things! I have a YouTube channel that I will talk more about later. But, this is about games and my odd life. I have a friend who's helping me! She has her own (slightly successful) blog called The Dani Jones Blog! Im a fan of watching anime, and Minecraft Diaries and others, to many to name! But  there's going to be theories about different things! And... OTPs!! So...that's all for now!! :)

Lost in My Own World: I'm a bit of a band girl whoops  *coughs nervously* Now for my list of bands I like: All Time Low,Fall Out Boy, 5 Seconds of Summer (Calum is pretty much my husband; don't judge.), My Chemical romance, The Summer Set (pretty unknown band at this point, but their music is still good), Panic! At The Disco And pretty much that's it at this point. xD I also like pop music, but I don't listen to it that much at this point, but on occasions I'll listen to it for about 3 hours.rs straight.

will be answering 15 questions as an interview on Dani’s blog. She will be 

answering the same questions on my blog, and that post will also be up soon.

(Well, actually when I was writing this, it wasn’t posted, but by the time that

this gets posted, that one might be up as well, so you can go, and check that

out on my blog. The link is above.) So, here are the questions in BLUE, and

my answers in this color! Now, we get started because I don’t think you want 

to spend a few hours reading my intro, do you? Because, if you do, I totally

can write a few days worth of reading intro… 

JUST KIDDING!

So, here are the questions, and (flips hair in face) my fabulous answers.

1. Why did you start blogging?

Uh, would you judge me if I said, I don’t know? (No, nobody would judge you!)Okay, then I will tell you. 

So, originally, my blog was an art blog, and it was called Draw Divine, but

I wasn’t really enjoying that, so I made it into a normal blog, and I actually, 

for some UNKNOWN reason, I never changed the name. Then, I decided to, and 

I did, but I lost literally all of my readers, but I’ve actually met some that I have

never seen on my blog before, so I guess that that’s a good thing. Anyway, I was

inspired for this blog because I was just drawing, so I decided to post that, and then

I continued to post, and then it just became a writing blog, and I have always loved 

to write anyway, and my writing teacher told me I was a really good writer, so I just

DID, ya know?

2. When did you start blogging.

It’s been almost a year. Now, next question. Oh, you wanted the exact date? Oh, okay, well,

let me just go check blogger. Wait a few hours…..   

I, uh, can’t find it…..   Not my fault though. When I changed blog names, the gmail that I

had my blog on changed too, and the posts that I posted when my blog name was Draw Divine

are NOT on my current blogger account, but they are still posted on my blog, and I think that it

was in May 2015? I am not really sure.

3. Your top 3 favorite blogs?

2. Shine ’N’ Elevate ( I don’t really read her blog too much anymore, although I still do, 

but she was one of my first readers, and her blog was also one of the first blogs that I ever read.)

3. The Dani Jones Blog : Well, I don’t really read many blogs, so I used to only read those 2, but now that I’ve started to read this one, I actually really like it, so this blog would be my 3rd favorite blog. (Oh my gosh!! She said me!!!)

4. Have you ever changed your blog name? If so, from what to what?

As I have already mentioned, I have changed it from Draw Divine to A Joyful Corner.

5. Would you rather read a book on a Kindle, or a Nook, or on a real book?

I’m not really sure, I really like both, but I think I would prefer either a Kindle, or a Nook

so that I could read in the dark without opening the lights, and that I don’t have to hold a book,

or do any work I don’t even have to turn the page, I just have to swipe! Also, it’s a digital bookmark, so it won’t even rip! :)

6. Skiing or snowboarding, and why?

Neither, because I have never tried snowboarding, because it looks scary, and skiing is just…..

HARD! Ya know? I usually just end up reading a book or entertaining myself in the lodge, but

I still love to go there, it’s just a nice change, but I also hate the car ride to get there, because it’s long. I’m surprised that I haven’t thrown up during one of the trips there, or back. TMI? Okay,

then let’s move on…..(Ha ha!)

7. Traveling by plane or car, and why?

Plane, even though I’m afraid of going on them, I don’t know, I think I’m afraid that the plane will fall? And, Amelia Earhart disappearing doesn’t help either….. AT ALL! But, I get carsick, so…..

8. Dodgeball or Kickball?

Kickball, because it’s fun, but, of course, dodgeball is a VERY close 2nd place! (Neither are my favorite sports, though, if that’s what you’re thinking.)

9. What is your favorite book, and your favorite author?

No idea. I read alot, so….. Also, it’s LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to choose, sooooo…..

10. What are 3 things that you would take with you on a deserted island?

Well, obviously not counting food, water, bathroom, and all of those needs, and stuff, but here are the 3 things. My phone, obvi! My laptop, no duh! And, wifi. What’s the use of my phone, and my laptop if I don’t have wifi?

11. Would you rather play sports, or watch sports?

Play, duh! I HATE to watch sports, even though I LOVE to play most of them!

12. List from favorite to least favorite. Instagram, Pinterest, and/or Twitter?

Instagram, Twitter, and then Pinterest.

 13. List from favorite to least favorite. Jeans, sweatpants, and/or tights?

Tights, sweatpants, and then jeans

14. Would you rather watch a movie, or watch a play?

Watch a movie

15. List from favorite to least favorite. Go on a vacation in Hawaii, California, and/or Florida?

I can not choose, I have only been to 2 of these, and I can’t choose between those, and my dad has been to Hawaii for his job before, and, me and my mom loved the souvenirs, so…..
