Talon Book Review

 Sooo I know I haven't done book reviews in, like a long time... But my Mom for whatever reason wanted me to review the whole bunch of books that we got from the library (like 10) so here's the first one.

Summary:

My Review:

So first off, I have been meaning to read SOMETHING with dragons ever since I've been on Paperfury, so this was seriously overdue. I really really liked this book. The overall storyline and the characters were really good. Though there was a slight love-triangle. which usually I like, or at least tolerate, but I don't really think it worked in this case.

Caution Spoilers Ahead 

One of the things I loved was the difference between Ember and Dante, with him having nothing to do with her rebelliousness. But this book was really predictable in the sense that as soon as Garrett was introduced I knew that him and Ember were going to fall in love and it would be the classic they can't love each other because they're enemies. But the thing I didn't predict was Riley. Just anything to do with him was a shock. His whole character was a shock. 

My Rating: ★★★★☆⭒

All in all I thought this book was pretty darn great and I'm excited to see what comes next in the series.

Winter Life Updates

 Heyo guys! So as I'm sitting on my couch, eating a tootsie pop, and watching Star Wars it occurred to me that I haven't done a post about Christmas or any kind of winter whatever. So here I am with a winter life update post.
 So, I got on Winter break on Wednesday. It was cool because... oh screw it. It wasn't really cool. All week I had finals. And if you don't know, this year ws my FIRST YEAR to have finals. I... I just... why? Why are finals a thing!? Like 75 math questions? Really? What do we gain from that? All the elementary students are partying it up but for us? NOPE! You get FINALS! Merry Christmas!
 Speaking of Christmas. I am looking forward to Christmas! I love love love Christmassss!!! I've already done gift exchanges with Weirdo and Derpy Dog and I just love it!
 Sooooo now I'm going to share random quotes from my wip that doesn't have a name yet.

• "Well, first things first." Said Olivia. She got up with a grunt and went over to the fridge. She opened the fridge, grabbed a jar of Nutella, and pulled the lid off.
• "Piece of shiz drugged you to get you here, but me? Oh he probably hit me in the back with a fire extinguisher."

Exciting News

 Hey guys! I have extremely good news! I'm not sure if all of you can relate, but now that I think about it some of you probably will... you know what I'm just gonna tell you!
 So last Monday I auditioned for my schools Spring play. A lot of people auditioned and I wasn't sure if I was gonna get in. In fact, I didn't think I was gonna get in at all. I mean, a lot of people were probably a lot better than me.
 Then I got on the list for call-backs. If you don't know what call-backs are it's where my teacher wanted me to come back to re-evaluate my acting skills. And you know, when I got there there were SO MANY better actors and actress's. I was pretty much sure that I wasn't going to get in.
 Then on Wednesday we were told that that was our last day of call-backs, even though we were supposed to have another one. I was absolutely petrified. So then my teacher said that instead of Friday the cast list was going to be posted Thursday.
 Now fast forward to Thursday, I was practically dying. I knew that this today I was going to know, for sure, that I DIDN'T get in. So after school I went down to the theater room with Meeble. My stomach was butterflies and I was all jittery. We got to the list and Meeble started reading from top to bottom. I looked at her for a minute, face contorting with worry because she didn't see my name. I took a deep breath looked at the first name on the list. Narrator One it said and the name beside it? Danielle Jones. My face broke out into a huge smile. I looked at Meeble and saw her face getting more worried and more worried. "Meeble.... I got in." I whispered. She looked at me like What? and so I said louder, almost screaming that I got in. She was so happy for me, as were most of my friends.
 So yeah... I'm in the 2018 Spring Play of Game of Tiaras! I'm so so so so excited!!!

Why Does Everything Happen In November?

  So, I meant to do this earlier, like on my birthday, or my blogiversary but that didn't happen because EVERYTHING happens in November and I've been swamped (granted my blogiversary was in late October but same general idea). Do you want a rundown of my month starting with the day of my blogiversary? Probably not! But you get it anyway! (Oh I'm so perky!)

•  On October 19th it was my blogiversary and I didn't know that until like, three minutes ago. So I now have a three year old. Happy birthday blog. 
• On October 29th it was Speed Boy's birthday party and that was kinda fun.
• On October 30th was Speed Boy's actual birthday
• On October 31st was, ya know, Halloween
• On November 1st it was all saint's day so we went to church at 7:30 and my baby cousin was born
• On November 3rd it was my uncle's birthday 
• On November 5th it was Emogi's birthday
• On November 7th it was my friend Kota's birthday 
• On November 11th it was both Emogi and Kota's birthday parties so I went to BOTH of those
• On November 12th it was my birthday party and my aunts birthday
• On November 14th it was my birthday (I'm officially 12 now)

and that's it so far. Plus that's not including homework or sleepvers or endless hours on technology. So yeah. I've been busy.
  Another sad thing is that I'm not actually sure what to blog about, my life isn't exciting anymore it feels like. I also haven't been writing as much as I should. DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT NANO WRIMO! WE JUST ESTABLISHED THAT I HAVE A BUSY LIFE! Honestly though, I think it's cause the topic I chose doesn't really... feel like what I want to write... or something along those lines. But I mean, can't really change it now! Can you? I dunno...
  Ok I lied, my life hasn't completely lost it's excitement. I'm in a band! Of course I don't actually play anything so you're probably wondering how, well, it's a virtual band. I convert poems that one band member writes into songs. It's really fun, we already have two songs!
  I'll try to post a lot on here this week! Cause we have it off due to Thanksgiving!

RAMBLING MUCH?

  So. So so so. So. Dani is back. With another apology. There seems to be a lot of those on this blog recently. And I'm not going to say that I didn't miss this blog, because I MOST DEFINITELY DID! But let's just say that I now know what some of my favorite bloggers mean when they say school=life as you get older. I am DEAD! 6th grade math? When you got the highest score in math last year? Should be easy right? HEH HEH NOPE! Please send help I'm dying. BUT I digress. It is no excuse for not blogging. I've decided that instead of making myself DIE of freaking guilt, I'm going to do what one of my favorite bloggers (Noor from Bookmarked. Hi Noor! *waves vigorously*) where I'm just going to post every now and then.
  On to RAMBLING! Nyeh heh heh! It's time for the traditional school section. I go to the school library so much that the school librarian knows to expect Meeble, Fluffy Hair, and I (yep, that's right, I spend a full class period with my crush, be jealous). Oh oh oh! The people at school call me Danielle in school now! Ya know, except my bffs! I despise my science teacher very much a lot. She gives us 0% help and 2 days to complete 3 pages of things we don't know and expects us ALL to get 100% on it. Ugh. Also my S.S. teacher gets on my nerves. I was doodling on my paper while we were listening to the CONSTITUTION BEING READ! He came up to me and yelled at me about how "ridiculous" it was. Like bruh, seriously? You being for real right now? Ugh. It makes me mad.
  Now other random stuff. Today was Speed Boy's b day party. Oh. Oh! OH OH OH! I just remembered! GUYS GUYS GUYS I'M DOING NANO FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER I'M SO EXCITED AIRGBEURGHE9RGERHEUH!!!!!! You can add me at DaniJones. Also another thing I'm quite excited for is that on November 3rd Derpy Dog and I are going to houston for a night trip! So that'll be fun. Yeah... Life Update

 Hey guys! So-WAIT! Hold up a sec! FIRST OFF I'm so so sorry for not posting! I've been EXTREMELY busy! This middle schooler needs to learn to time manage. I don't need to spend TWO FRICKEN HOURS in my bath tub if it's going to cut into my blogging time. So ANYWAY I'm planing to blog 3 times a week. On Sunday is going to be a life type blog post, then on Wednesday I'll do a bookish blog post, and then on Friday I'll do another life type post. Now onto the life type post.
  So school.. It's not actually that bad. I get homework though and I've already completed one major grade. ALSO TWO FRICKEN PROJECTS have ALREADY been assigned. Like what the heck? We've only been in school for what? Two... three weeks? Geez... Oh! Also! Middle school is killing my ding dang dong legs! Like I have to go up and down the stairs FOUR TIMES! Add that to pre-athletics... I'm... like... dead inside... But WHATEVER!
  Ok so I have a crush on a new guy... I mean, he's not really new, I've known him for a while but at first I dis-liked him. Like, a lot. Like, I couldn't STAND the dude. It's Fluffy Hair. So do you wanna know how I realized I liked him? Yeah you do. Ok so, I was wearing dangly earrings, but I took them out in my 7th period class, GT/Critical Thinking/Sage/Whatever you call it. Freaking Meeble STOLE them! I finally got them back but by the time I had the bell had rung. So I walked out to where my friend group meets and started trying to get the dang earrings in and I couldn't. I was just standing there struggling to get them in. And Fluffy Hair saw and said "Do you want some help?" and I said "Yeah sure!" and he came over and put the dang earrings in and my stomach started fluttering and yeah... The only people I told were Meeble T.O.P.  Emogi (I told her cause she tells me all her crush's) and my Mom.
  Theater is crazy. Here are some stories from theater class. So first off, Enogi and I sit at the same table and we make weird faces at each other (for whatever reason). So we were doing that and she made a really funny face and I snorted so fricken loud! My whole table busted out laughing. Next story, ok so Fluffy Hair moved to the table, and he sits next to me now. Every single time Emogi sees us talking she goes "Wink wink nudge nudge," and I mean, Fluffy Hair isn't stupid, he's gonna figure it out eventually. So I told her to stop. So instead she either winks twice or nudges me twice.
  So earlier today Mom and I went and got our nails done. Mine are so pretty! My fingernails are black with glitter and t he thumbs have chevron in white, and my toenails are purple with black glitter! So PRETTY! And then I slammed my right middle finger in the door so that hurts.
  Yesterday I had a really fun day! It was, like amazingness! So I went to my Aunt and Uncle's ranch T.O.P. and I shot guns! There was a really big one that reminded me of a sniper and a pistol. Then we rode the four wheeler (it's pretty much a golf cart with HUGE wheels that goes SUPER fast). Then we played with a hover board that my Aunt's dad bought for whatever reason. Then I rode with my Aunt's dad in the four wheeler and we freaking JUMPED A CLIFF! Like, no joke. Except it was more like a rock wall, so that was cool.
  So this post turned very long and rambley but oh well... Now I'm going to go and procrastinate doing something that my social studies teacher has been telling me to do for the last week.

My First Day of Middle School Was Today!

 HAI guys! So today was my first day of middle school for me and just YEEET!! So I'll go through my day period by period starting with when I woke up!
  So when I woke up it was 6:00 in the morning, so I got on my outfit (pink teal black and white shirt with jean shorts a choker a gryffendor wrist band and a random rainbow zebra wrist band) and went into the restroom. In the restroom I.. you know... went to the bathroom. BUT I also brushed my teeth and fixed my hair. Then I walked into my kitchen and made m lunch. Then I ate a bowl of fruit loops because I was STARVING!
  So then we all got in the car and went back to my old school because we were picking up Weirdo who's mom works there. So he got in the car and my mom took pictures of us for some strange reason. So then we drove over to Speed Boy's school and Mom walked him in (it was his first day of kinder!). So Weirdo and I just kind of talked. Then Mom came back and drove us to our new school. She parked in the parking lot to take pictures of us, then she dropped us off. She would've walked us in but parents LITERALLY weren't allowed to!
  So once we got to the school EVERYBODY was sent to the cafeteria, 6th, 7th, 8th... EVERYBODY! And for some one with people-phobia that was not good. I started, like, internally panicking. Luckily we saw Farmer Girl and Bob. So we went and sat with them. But I started freaking out because Meeble, Dancer, and Emogi weren't there! A couple minutes later Meeble and Dancer got there but there was still no sign of Emogi! Then the 6th grade was shepherded off to the old gym to get our new schedules (I actually lost mine sometime... heh heh... I have a pic on my phone though). Emogi got there a little bit later too so that was good!
  First Period: ELA with Mrs. Catterin. So we were dismissed from the gym and my first class was upstairs. So I walked upstairs to try to find Mrs. Catterin's class. I ended up going alone because NO ONE ELSE (that I knew) had anything upstairs for first period. When I walked in I saw no one. Ugh! So I picked a spot and quietly made a name tag. Then I just sat there. Turns out there actually was someone I knew, but he was sitting on the other side of the room. Then we did a weird stations thing... but that was pretty much it.
  Second Period: Science with Mrs. Haas. So I walked in not expecting to have anybody there. But Goat Boy was there and pretty much jumped into the air when he saw me. So I lunged forward and took the seat next to him. In Mrs. Haas's class she pretty much just talked about how we need to think that we can do it and even if we're not smart now we can become smart and bla bla bla etc. I pretty much zoned out...
Third Period: Pre-Athletics with Coach Lancaster/Molina. So for this class I had Dancer and a couple others that aren't really important. So anyway we didn't actually do much... They pretty much talked about expectations while we sat on the bleachers and then the people that had a lock thingy could go get a locker and I didn't (I got one after school). So I just sat there and talked with everybody. A lot of people got out their phones even though we weren't necessarily supposed to but eh.
  Lunch!! So next was lunch which was great because EVERYBODY sat together and I was in the middle. I didn't have to sit by anybody I didn't know and we were all laughing and having a good time. PLUS bonus we got on our phones so that was fun.
  Fourth Period: Theater with Mrs. Nichols. Ok so I had Emogi and a couple other people I knew in this class. This class was REALLY fun! I liked the teacher and we got to do fun games like human pretzel! I had and will have a really fun time in this class!
  Fifth Period: Math with Mr. Pullin, Ok so this was actually my favorite class! I loved Mr. Pullin! He was so nice and funny! He also had a really pleasing accent. I had Farmer Girl and Dancer in this class. Though I sat with Farmer Girl and Dancer was on the other side of the classroom.
  Sixth Period: Social Studies with Mr. Levermann. Ok so when I first walked in I took a table that had only ONE other seat, thinking that this way I would only have to socialize with one person. Then Goat Boy walked in and I was like PERFECT! Unfortunately Mr. Levermann said we had to alphabetize ourselves meaning that-well whadda ya know?-I DID have to socialize. Ugh! But it was fine I guess. But oh my gosh Mr. Levermann had the most dull voice EVER! It sucks.
  Seventh Period: Critical Thinking with Mrs. Smith. Ok so this is basically gifted and talented. I have it with Meeble, Weirdo and Farmer Boy. Mrs. Smith basically explained everything in her room to us. I'm actually quite excited!
  So after school we (Meeble, Weirdo, Fluffy Hair, and another kid) walked to a different school because... well... it's a long story. Anyway! We did and that's where I got picked up. So yeah.
  That was all that happened and I actually had a lot of fun!

Middle School, Epilepsy, Hurricanes, and Lime Flavored Sparkling Water (Life Updates)

  Hai guys, weird title huh? You're probably wondering how ALL that can be in ONE post. Well it can because I'm amazing! Anyway I'll go through them one by one!

  Middle School. Ok so. Someone help. I start middle school tomorrow. Am I ready? NOPE! Am I going anyway? YUP! I'm, like EXTREMELY scared! I already know what I'm going to wear, and I'll post a post about all of my classes and whatever. But you know, I go through stages of I'm scared as freak and I think I'll be ok. And I mean LOGICALLY I know I'll be ok, and everybody goes through middle school, but then emotionally I'm like, I'm not READY to be in middle school. I'm still a freaking third grader at heart. But, you know, I guess this 11 year old that's really a third grader is going to  have to go to 6th grade.

  Epilepsy. So a really close friend of  mine has epilepsy. Even with the anonymous-ness of the nicknames I still don't know if I'm allowed to say who. You want to know how we figured it out? Well we went out to play in the rain, and we were swinging. And it looked like she was trying to stand up and get out of the swing and she fell and started shaking. I thought she was playing for a minute and then she didn't stop. I yelled for my mom and she told me to run home and get her phone (we were at the community park). So I ran home and got her phone all the while crying (cause I mean, I didn't know if she would be ok). So I got back to the park and gave my mom her phone, by that time my close friend was awake. I sat on the bench with Speed Boy, and once I looked back and my close friend looked at me like, who is this girl and why is she looking at me. I pretty much broke and started bawling. Then my mom told me to take Speed Boy home so I did. When we got home I didn't even change. I just sat by the door with a towl. Pretty soon I heard sirens and knew that they had come for my close friend. Then my mom texted me to change so I did and then I bundled in a blanket. I couldn't help but think that it was my fault, because I was the one who wanted to go play in the rain. Luckily now she's completely fine and she's on medicine and her mom doesn't blame us for anything. 

  Hurricanes. Well, I live in a place where a hurricane just hit. Luckily it wasn't that bad where I live but I know where other people live it got BAD! So I'm just glad that it wasn't that bad here. 

  Lime flavored sparkling water. Yum is all I have to say in this category. It tastes like sprite but it's WAY healthier so its like AMAZAAAAANNNNGGGGGG!!!!

Blog Challenge Day 16

  Hai guys! So today I'm here with day 16 of my blog challenge.

Day 16: What's at the top of your bucket list?

  I want to sky-dive SO BAD! Like I've been indoor sky diving but I REALLY want to go sky-diving for reals. Sadly you have to be 18 in where I live to sky-dive. But what's REALLY on the top of my bucket list is to go to Universal Studios. I actually even started saving up. (I only have about 25 dollars). Mom said I have to get half  and she'll pay the rest. I have to get $1000 so... yeah.

Blog Challenge Day 15

   Hai guys! So currently I'm at a meeting for my mom and I'm off in a corner in a chair writing this and listening to music through earbuds. #Imanoutcast But ANYWAY today I'm doing the 15th day in my blog challenge thing!

Day 15: Time line of your day. Well um heh heh. It's almost the end of summer but my daily summer time line isssss

6:00: (Lately I've been getting back into the habit of waking up early) Wake up and brush my teeth if I can remember. Go into the living room and read.

7:00: My family leaves for various jobs and camps. Start watching TV (NCIS, Phineas and Ferb, or MLP mostly). 

8:00: Pick my lazy butt up and get some breakfast that could range anywhere from toaster strudels, to cereal, to toast. Go back and watch TV/play on phone/blog/write.

11:00: Eat lunch. I mostly just eat random stuff. Like today I ate a leftover bread-stick from Olive Garden, a salad, chips, and a brownie. 

12:00: My Mom get's home and has lunch.

1:00: My Mom leaves for work again

5:00: My Mom get's home with Speed Boy. I move into my room and watch TV on my laptop/read. *Side Note* OCCASIONALLY we'll watch a family movie

9:30: I emerge from my room and tell my Mom and Dad good night. Then I go to the restroom and brush my teeth. Then I walk through the house and turn off all the lights cause I can't sleep unless it's pitch black. (Take a melatonin if I'm not tired) Then I go back to my room and change into my p.j.'s. Then I read if I'm not tired at ALL.

10:00: By this time I MAKE myself go to sleep and I put the book down and go to sleep.

  So that was my daily summer schedule. Probably tomorrow I'll do day 16.

School!

 Ok, so first of all I'm EXTREMELY sorry that this didn't get out on time! I was planning on doing this THREE DAYS ago but something happened (will be explained) and then the next day I was with Derpy Dog and then yesterday I had a party at a SUPER fun water-park. ANYWAY point is I was busy and NOW I will post this!
  SO! Three days ago on the 17th I got my schedule and let me just tell you that crap SUCKED! First off theater was FULL so I was put in choir (ugh my voice is AWFUL) AND  I didn't get ANY classes with Meeble or Weirdo. I did get to classes with Dancer and yeah.. but I had my hopes SO high! I kinda broke down, but I couldn't show it because I was with Weirdo and spent half the day with him. But when I got home I just BURST out crying. Mom cuddled with me and she made me feel a little better, but I mostly just wanted to talk to Derpy, so I got into my room and called her. She made me feel a LOT better and I eventually stopped crying. Then I asked if I could spend the night with her. Mom said yes since we had Zumba anyway (yes, I do Zumba now, I'm un-athletic and bad at it but it's fun). So I packed and we went to Zumba. Luna was there too, so she tried to commfort and failed. Miserably. She ACTUALLY made me cry again. So, yeah. Bad. Anyway, we did Zumba and whatever and I was PLANNING on making this post at Derpy's but I just, couldn't. Then the next day my Mom texted us and said that she emailed the councilor at my new school and that there were two open theater spots and I GOT ONE!!!!!!!! I was so excited! But now I don't know my schedule. So I was going to make my post then, but before I knew it I was picked up and dropped off at Meeble's house. So I said I was going to make the post the next day, but what me and Mom both forgot was I had a birthday party to go to, so I was there for the WHOLE day and I just now had time to make this post! So yeah! When I get my schedule I will DEFINITELY tell you guys!

Why I Haven't Been Posting Recently/ This Blog Was Formerly The Dani Jones Blog

 Hai guys! So you might've noticed that I haven't been posting recently, and there's a reason for that. So what happened was one day I took my laptop outside to play on it. Then Mom called me back inside for dinner and I thought I'd be right back out after. But then after dinner I had to do the dishes and Speed Boy and I got in a dance battle- it was extremely funny because Speed Boy is five and can break-dance like a freaken baller and then I just... can't- but so ANYWAY Speed Boy needed to go outside to do something but he said he couldn't because it had just rained. So I started FREAKING OUT and Speed Boy didn't quite know why, but it was because my laptop was still outside on the porch swing. So I ran outside to get it and luckily due to the angle of the covering only a corner of my laptop was wet and the laptop was closed. I rushed it into Mom and she was SUPER annoyed. My Mom TRIED to open it up but the screws were stripped so she couldn't. We ended up just opening it up and letting it dry for a couple days. Then I turned it on and it was all good! So tomorrow I have a plan for a blog post, and then it's back to the normal schedule! So yeah!
 ALSO not sure if anyone noticed but I changed the blog title to The Book Blog That's Not Actually A Book Blog so yeah!

Blog Challenge Day 14 Plus Some Other Stuff

  Hey guys!! Today I'm back with day 14!!

Question 14: If you won the lottery:

If I won the lottery I would buy a huge freaken MANSION!! It would have bookshelves lining every wall and it would have A LOT of bedrooms with toilets and mini fridges. PLUS a private maid, chef and butler. I WOULD ALSO BUY A HELICOPTER AND MY OWN ISLAND WHERE I WOULD TAKE MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND WE COULD FLY TO SCHOOL!!!!!!! So yeah!

  Now for the 'other stuff'. I'm kinda changing up the blog a little. I'm changing the name, I have Nabila making me a new heading and blog button and I have Izzy/Mason making me a signature and some of you may have noticed that I've already changed my about me page. So... yeah! I'll tell you my new blog name when I have all my new blog things!

School Supplies+31 Day Blog Challenge 12

  Hai guys! I'm back just like I said I would be! ;) SO today is going to be 2 things, my regular 31 day challenge PLUS- since I went back-to-school shopping a couple days ago- my school supplies! (Just a warning these may not be the best quality of photos so...)
  I'll start with the 31 day challenge!

Day 12: What's inside your fridge? Well currently the only things I know of that are in my fridge is Apple Cider, Apple Juice, Grape Juice, Yogurt, ice cream, and some kind of frozen meat. Sooooo

So here's my school supplies

 This is my new backpack. I get one every year, I don't know why, that's just the way it is. BUT ANYWAY I love this backpack! It's pink with butterflies!

 This is my binder. I wanted a big thick one, but ended going with this because, I mean, seriously, it's purple and sparkly, what more do you want?

 Two sets of binder dividers tho I was only supposed to have one.

 My student planner (which I've never tried one before so #Interested!

 Composition Notebook #1: It's teal and sparkly with a gold heart on it!

 Composition Notebook #2: It's purple with gold polka dots! (What is that eye tho?)

 Composition  Notebook #3: A purple notebook with the words Be You in gold. (My eyes tho!!)

 Composition Notebook #4: White with rainbow/ombre mandala like designs. (Why do I have an obsession with my eyes?)

 Final Composition Notebook: It has a rainbow background with a chocolate ice cream cone. 

 This has a REALLY cool texture which is why I was scratching it. I'm weird, I know. (It's a folder btw)

 Ok, A) This is a very trippy folder and B) I was either smiling, laughing or sneezing in this picture, comment which you think I'm doing!

 I got a buttload of paper (upon Mom's insistance).

 Pre-Sharpened pencils (48 of em!)

 Eracable "Map Colors" (colored pencils)

 12 glue sticks (we were supposed to bring 24 but I thought that was ridiculous)

 I don't know why but I LOVE to highlight things, so instead of getting only four highliters I got five (also we couldn't find a four pack so)

 Expo markers which I think are for the teachers not the kids so I don't know why WE had to buy them.

 I had to get Post-It notes for whatever reason.

So I wasn't sure you could tell but I was trying to go with a mainly purple blue and pink theme BECAUSE those are the favorite colors me, Meeble, and Derpy Dog. Soooo Yeah! That's it!

Eeek I'm Sorry!

 Guys! This was a COMPLETELY unscheduled blogging break! But it's because of something AWESOME! And then.... something really sad happened! BUTTTTTTTTTT I'll start with the good first!
  Ok it started when a couple weeks ago, my Mom told me that my Aunt, Meeble, T.O.P., her and I were all going out to dinner. I got exited. We all got in my Mom's car and started driving, we drove for about thirty minutes, then we stopped for dinner. We ate Bush's Chicken. Then we started driving again, when I asked where we were going my Mom said we were just going on a drive. After another thirty minutes I started suspecting we were going out of state, but I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to be wrong. So I didn't say anything. Another hour after that T.O.P. and Meeble started acting SUPER suspicious, whispering and texting people and all. They were tired of keeping that we were going on a trip secret. They started being VERY obvious and loud. Saying things like 'SO Dani, where do you think we're going?" And I tried to play it off like I didn't care. Then (and I learned this part afterwards) Meeble APPARENTLY texted my aunt to help them and my aunt texted back that she wouldn't UNLESS we all got off our phones. Now the seating chart went me, then T.O.P., then Meeble, and T.O.P. was reading over Meeble's shoulder. So T.O.P. turns to me and say's "HEY Dani, don't you think we should look out the window a little." I said why and she said because it's beautiful outside. That wasn't a lie either, we were driving through a particularly hilly spot. Suddenly my aunt turns to me and say's "Dani, where do you think we're going?" I say back "I dunno..." She say's "If you HAD to guess what would you guess?" "Out of -insert state you think I live in-?" I asked sheepishly. "Maybe, but where SPECIFICALLY do you think we're going?" I had to think about that, because I didn't know. Then I remembered how Mom kept saying the next place that we're gonna go is New Mexico. "New Mexico?" I ask. "I have something for you." my aunt said and she gave me a brown parcel. I opened the parcel and it was a black shirt with an alien on the front and the words 'Girls Trip 2017' in white on the back. (In case you don't know the alien head is for Roswell which is a city in New Mexico.)
  The first day we were there we went to Carlsbad Caverns, and let me just tell you, it was AMAZING!! I don't know why, but I LOVE caves. I'm pretty much the opposite of claustrophobic (unless that small dark place is filled with people I don't know, which makes me anthropophobic  not claustrophobic. (I did a little bit of research for that tidbit of info))
  The next day we went to Roswell (remember with the alien?). I must say I was a little bit let down. (THO IT WAS AMAZING STILL) Only the main street was alien-ified. BUT the street was totally alien-ified. We went to the UFO museum and a place where it's like a GIANT photo booth type thing with aliens and it's incredibly cool. Then, since my Mom and I had never seen a mountain we went to a mountain (and no, it wasn't just a big hill, it was a mountain). It was really cool to just barely see it on the horizon and slowly watch it get bigger.
  Now you're probably wondering what was the thing that was bad. Welllllll.......... Once we got back into -insert state you think I live in- I tried to set a password on my phone (because as you may know I'm going into middle school, and if someone get's a hold of my phone I don't want them to be able to get into it) but my phone is a piece of crap and once I set up a password it wouldn't freaking accept it! So my phone FACTORY RESET (if you don't know what the means, it basically means that it wiped my phone completely)!! I was so mad! It deleted ALL of my photos! It sucked... BUT whatever!
  Ok so I WILL start posting regularly again! I'm so sorry this took so long to get out! I will probably start doing the 31 day challenge every other day instead! So be on the lookout! Love you guys! Thanks for sticking with this crappy inconsistent blog! X'D

Character Battle // May the Odds Be Ever In Their Favor

 I was nominated by Skye to do the Character Battle! So yeah!
How it works:
You need to write down on separate pieces of paper 30 characters from different books. Then put them all in a bowl. Basically what we are going to do is read the question, Pick out 2 pieces of paper from the bowl and decide which one gets picked for the question.

Answer: Leo, I feel like if I asked Peeta he would say whatever to make me feel good

instead of giving me his honest opinion and Leo would joke and then give me his honest opinion.

Scenario: You have one spot on your spelling bee team, who gets it?

Answer: Scarlet, I feel like Winter would kinda crack under the pressure whereas

Scarlet would egg us all on. Sorry Winter!

Two People: Grover (PJ) vs. Carswell Thorne (TLC)

Scenario: Both characters want to kill you. Whom would you kill first to have a better

chance of survival?

Answer: WHAT!? I have to kill either Grover or Thorne? UGH! Probably Thorne because I can't imagine Grover would be that big of a threat to me. Sorry/congrats Grover!

Two People: Annabeth Chase (PJ) vs. Emperor Kaito (TLC)

Scenario: You've been reaped for The Hunger Games. Who would volunteer in your place?

Answer: Are we assuming I know them both? If we are I think I would say Kai. He's just so sweet! Annabeth would sit there and yell at the TV what I should be doing. Sorry Annabeth!

Two People: Cinder Linh (TLC) vs. Ron Weasley (HP)

Scenario: You're stranded on an island and must resort to cannibalism to survive. Whom do you eat? 

Answer: What kind of question is this? I think I'm gonna have to say Ron because if I tried to take down Cinder I'D be the one dead!

Two Characters: Minho (TMR) vs. Leroy Jethro Gibbs (NCIS)

Scenario: You're the newest Marvel (with your own TV show of course). Who's your sidekick.

Answer: Though I think that having Gibbs as my sidekick would be REALLY cool, I think Minho would be my sarcastic sidekick that could kick butt.

Two Characters: Iko (TLC) vs, Ziva David (NCIS)

Scenario: You're a manager for an avocado company (I don't even like avocados). Who do you fire for poor communication skills.

Answer: Ziva. I know Iko is a robot but Ziva is Israeli and so in the show she has problems understanding modern american figures of speech, so Ziva.

Scenario: You've just finished a book in which your favorite character dies. Who is most likely to comfort you?

Answer: Probably Tim because since he is an author he probably reads to which means he's probably gone through it as well.

Scenario: Ugh, it's high school. Who's more likely to be in the popular clique? 

Answer: I wanna say Thomas because Cress is to shy.

Answer: Jacin, Frank is to sweet!
